SongFlex is a free browser-based party game where players compete to place songs in the correct chronological order on their personal timeline. Keep score on a laptop/tablet, cast the page to a TV, and use a single phone with Spotify or Apple Music to scan codes and play music.

Timeline challenge

Each round, a player (the Scanner) will play a song for a minimum of 30 seconds. Guess the release year and place it correctly on your personal timeline to earn a card.

Place the song correctly AND name the artist AND the song title in order to get extra listening time on your next turn OR make another player's timeline more crowded with a ghost card.

How to play

  1. Load a song library — choose Apple Music or Spotify QR codes. The deck shuffles automatically.
  2. Choose players — pick 1–10 players. Each gets their own scoring column.
  3. Scan & guess — use one phone to scan the QR code, play the song in Spotify or Apple Music, then place it on your timeline.
  4. Reach the card target — collect the chosen number of correctly placed cards to claim victory.
